DODA, Feb 23: A woman allegedly tried to end her life by jumping into nallah near Kalni bridge, falling under the jurisdiction of Thathri police station.
As per police sources, a lady identified as Khursheeda Begum, wife of Mohammad Iqbal, a resident of Tholaran Gandoh allegedly tried to commit suicide by jumping into nallah at Kalni bridge.
The locals rushed to the spot, rescued the woman and shifted her to Thathri Hospital, from where she was later referred to District Hospital Doda, where she was undergoing treatment, when reports last came in.
Thathri police has taken cognizance in this regard.
