MENDHAR, Aug 29: The police has detained a woman after the recovery of eleven rounds of AK -47 rifle from her box at Gohlad in Mendhar today.
A police spokesman said that during the interrogation of noted Thief Tahir Hussain Shah, he disclosed that he had hidden some stolen goods and ornaments in the box of his aunt Parveen Fatima at Gohlad. The police party rushed there and started search for the goods. The party did not recover any ornaments or other electronic goods but found 11 AK-47 rounds in the box. The ammunition was seized and the woman was detained for questioning. A case has also been registered in this connection.
