JAMMU, Sept 8: A woman was killed while his husband received injuries in a road mishap at Nagrota in city outskirts.
According to a police official, today at about 5:30 PM, a couple was walking along the road in Nagrota area when a speeding car bearing registration number DL3CBW-0609 hit them. He said in the mishap, the couple received serious injuries.
“The injured couple was immediately rushed to Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu, where the woman, who was identified as Janu (25) resident of Nepal (at present Khanpur, Nagrota), succumbed to her injuries while her husband namely Rohit was responding to the treatment”, he added.
The official said that a case FIR No 220 under relevant sections was registered in this connection at police station Nagrota and investigations started.
