A scene from the play 'Woh Naak Se Bolte Hain' directed by Neeraj Kant, presented in Natrang's Sunday Theatre Series.

JAMMU, May 5: ‘Woh Naak Se Bolte Hain’, a play in Hindi written by Surinder Verma and directed by Neeraj Kant, was staged here today at Natrang’s Studio Theatre, in its Weekly Theatre Series, Sunday Theatre. The emotional quotient prevalent in the plot of the play rendered a soft yet cold wave of sensation in the hearts of the spectators.
The play deals with human emotions in a very sensible manner. Needs, wants, desires, aspirations etc were revisited in the play under the scanner of broken relationships.
A middle aged woman has been looking after her only daughter with all possible care as a single parent as she had separated from her husband long ago, as their relationship did not work and was indeed choking for her. Now after long, she looks for some emotional support as she is tired of her bland life. She finds a desired companion who is very caring and wants to marry her. But the young daughter of the lady was much against it as she is still having a strong emotional bond with her real father. She uses all the traits to make her mother realise that she is not doing right, narrates her mysterious and ambitious stories, uses satire on her and a lot more but the lady is still confused whether to choose her own happiness or that of others. The maternal grandmother of the young daughter tries to pacify the circumstances with her wisdom but the situation was too severe to be set right by mere advises.
Natrang’s artists who presented a remarkable performance packed with the requisite emotions and energy included Aarti Rajput as ‘Woman’, Vineet Sharma as ‘Daughter’ and Subha Rajput as ‘Grandmother’. Lights were designed and operated by Ankush Lakhnotra. Sakshi Prakash rendered the music. Sets were designed by Mohd. Yaseen, Vishal Sharma and Ashwani Bali while Sajra Qadir did the presentations and Sumeet Sharma coordinated the show.
