KISHTWAR, Mar 15: A wine shop has been sealed for not obtaining required permission for liquor licence here today.
As per official spokesman, on the directions of Excise Commissioner Rajesh Kumar Shavan, a team headed by ETO Doda-Kishtwar-Ramban Range Naeem Mughal along with Inspector Tauseef Kamal raided liquor vends–M/s Shalimar Wine Shop Kishtwar, M/s Mehfil Bar and Restaurant Kishtwar, Adil Karim Wine Shop Thathri, M/s Anil Manhas Wine Shop Prem Nagar.
Among these the Shalimar Wine Shop Kishtwar was booked and locked, pending enquiry into its conduct of obtaining the required permission for liquor licence fraudulently without seeking the prior NOCs from the competent authorities, thereby committing a serious nature of fraud and violation under Excise Act and Liquor Licence Sale Rules.
