Will raise voice of people in Assembly: Gupta

UDHAMPUR, May 5: MLA Udhampur, Pawan Gupta, today said that it will be his priority to raise voice for public grievances and developmental projects of Udhampur constituency in the State Assembly.
The assurance in this regard came from the MLA during a Public Darbar when several deputations of the constituency approached him with their problems and demands. A deputation of village Salmari apprised Pawan Gupta that people of the area are facing the scarcity of drinking water from a very long period and majority of the population is dependent on natural source of water. They demanded regular supply of water with all required facilities.
Another deputation of village Thnoa demanded electricity poles for Gujjar Mohalla of the village for the smooth supply of electricity while Vimal Dubey who was leading the deputation of Barta village apprised the MLA that several roads of the village are damaged due to the landslide in recent rains resulting the farmers are unable to bring their Thrasher machines in their fields for agricultural purposes.
A deputation of the promoted Masters told Pawan Gupta that they were promoted during the DPC in the year 2014 but they are not adjusted till date for reasons best known to the authorities concerned. They appealed Pawan Gupta to raise their voice on the floor of the J&K Assembly for justice.
Gupta gave on spot instructions to the authorities concerned of the district administration for immediate action and solution of the public problems highlighted in the Public Darbar.
