JAMMU, Aug 10: Aryans Group of Colleges, Rajpura, near Chandigarh organized a webinar on ‘Cyber Security Profession: Need of The Hour’.
Makarand Wagh, Ex-Law Enforcement Officer & Digital Fraud Investigator & Co Founder & Director of Macans Cyber Clinic Pvt Ltd interacted with the faculty members and Aryans students.
Dr. Anshu Kataria, Chairman, Aryans Group presided over the webinar.
Wagh while interacting with the students said, in today’s digital world Cyber Security is the need of everyone. “There are hackers who find new ways to attack digital assets everyday and security of valuable data is most important concern,” he said adding that there is a hacker attack every 39 seconds and 43 per cent of cyber attacks target small business.
Wagh also said that new threat vectors and attack techniques demand new approaches for cyber protection.
He also gave guidance to students that if any students want to experience life and work in other countries, a career in cyber security might be his/her passport to success, opening the door to exciting international career opportunities from Africa, Asia and Australia, to mainland Europe, Canada and the USA.
