NEW DELHI, Aug 22: The South Block office of the country’s Chief of Defence Staff is immaculately shining centre of Military power and to go there and have an opportunity to tie Rakhis to India’s symbol of defence power Gen Bipin Rawat was a blessed moment for young Shambhavi and her mother Vandana Bisht Vijay.
They had brought 25,000 Rahish handmade by girl students of Tamil Nadu (Bharani Educational Institute, Karur) led by Principal, Ram Subramanyam.
Gen Bipin Rawat was too, gracious and kind to accept and appreciate a small but fully loaded with love and blessings of sisters for Veer jawans. He promised that Rakhis will be sent to border area soldiers immediately . Sisters for War Memorial Shaurya Sthal Dehradun were led by Vandana Bisht Vijay and Shambhavi. Rakhi for soldiers movement is organised by former MP and Chairman Uttarakhand, War Memorial Tarun Vijay.
