RAMBAN, Feb 26: District Police Ramban organized a police-public meeting at Banihal today.
BDC chairpersons, Sarpanchs, Panches and prominent citizens from Banihal area attended the meeting.
On the occasion, the senior citizens, members of civil society and PRIs welcomed SSP Ramban, Haseeb-ur-Rehman on his maiden visit to Banihal.
They apprised the SSP about issues and problems being faced by the public of Banihal especially growing menace of drug addition among the youths.
SSP Ramban assured the public that he will immediately look into the matter to address their issues.
He also assured them that war against drugs trafficking will continue effectively.
SDM Banihal, Additional SP Sanjay Parihar, SDPO Banihal Sajad Sarwar, SHO Banihal Inspector Abid Bukhari and other officers remained present in the meet.
