JAMMU, Apr 7: President of Jammu Chamber of Commerce and Industry, YV Sharma, has launched a vigorous campaign amongst his fellow beings and has appealed the electorate of the Jammu-Poonch and Kathua-Udhampur-Doda Lok Sabha constituencies to cast their votes in favour of Congress candidates to safeguard the political and economic interests of Jammu Province.
While extensively campaigning for the Congress candidates, Sharma said that all evidences from past clearly suggest that no party other than Congress has the capacity and vision to safeguard the interests of Jammu province.
He said that the Congress candidates for present Lok Sabha elections, Mr Ghulam Nabi Azad and Mr Madan Lal Sharma, bring along wealth of experience, network of contacts at the national level and proven evidence of working tirelessly for ameliorating grievances of Jammu people.
The trade leader said that both the Congress Candidates Madan Lal Sharma and Ghulam Nabi Azad have already served as members of Parliament and proved beyond doubt that they are best representatives of the region.
