SRINAGAR, Apr 7: A man has attempted suicide by slitting his throat with a sharp knife at his home in Anantnag district.
A police spokesman said the 50-year-old Mohammad Sadiq Dar son of Abdul Aziz Dar of Gundi Jaffar, Qazigund, attempted to slit his throat.
“He was shifted to District Hospital Anantnag in critical condition, where from he has been referred to SMHS Srinagar for further treatment,” the spokesman said, adding police has registered a case.
