SRINAGAR, Apr 7: Police today claimed to have recovered an unidentified body of a man from Sonar Kohl near Zaldagar here this afternoon.
A police spokesman said they retrieved the body which was floating in Sonar Kohl.
“The body is semi-decomposed, having traces of beard on the face. The deceased is wearing jeans and blue sweater. The body has been kept in the mortuary of SMHS Srinagar for identification. Police has initiated inquest proceedings under Section 174 CrPC to ascertain the cause of death,” the spokesman said.
