SRINAGAR, May 14: Vodafone, one of India’s leading telecommunications service providers, today announced the launch of its new call centre facility in the State.
Untill now customers from J&K had to call Chandigarh call centre for any query.
Talking to reporters here this afternoon, Asit Sheikhar, Business head, Punjab, Himachal Pradesh and Jammu and Kashmir Vodafone India said the new Vodafone call centre, which has been set up for the benefit of customers in J&K, will provide global customer experience with closer local connect.
The call centre executives will converse with customers in local languages like Kashmiri, Dogri apart from Hindi and English.
Other than facilitating closer engagement with the customers in the state, it will also help in generating employment opportunities for local citizens.
He said at Vodafone, we adopt a customer first approach, where their requirements are the core focus of our business.
He said we engage with our customers in innovative ways and make ourselves more relevant to their special requirements, thereby enhancing the service experience. (UNI)
