Pak national held in Khour

JAMMU, May 14: Army last night apprehended a Pakistani civilian near the Line of Control (LoC) in Khour area of Pallanwalla sector in Akhnoor tehsil when he was trying to cross inside the Indian territory.
The intruder disclosed his identity as Ahmed Khan son of Kasim Khan, a resident of village Beharia in Pakistan’s Chhamb area. He was aged between 45 to 50 years.
Reports said the troops observed movement of the civilian in the forward area and challenged him. He was apprehended without any resistance. No significant recoveries were made from him.
Reports added that the civilian looked like a labourer. He was being quizzed to ascertain any motive behind the infiltration.
Army has been maintaining a high alert all along the LoC following reports that the militants could make infiltration attempts from Pakistan and PoK.
