JAMMU, Apr 2: Viraj Kala Kendra here staged play ‘Jaayaz Hatyaare’ by Hill Thespian group under the direction of Sunil Sharma.
Ankit Sharma, Hempreet Kour, Abhishek Sharma, Sita Kumari, Yuvraj and Sunil Sharma participated in the play.
After that Hindi play ‘Made In India’ was read by Sapna Soni and Meera Tapasvi which was a treat for the spectators and lovers of theatre.
The play has been written by Rajneesh Gupta and it presented a beautiful picture of patriotism in the modern times.
Seasoned actress Santosh Sangra presented solo act ‘Vridh Ashram’ which was also applauded by the audience.
Rajeshwar Singh Raju, renowned writer presented paper on theatre in Dogri language.
A large number of artists, literary figures were present on the occasion following Covid protocols.
On this occasion, child artist Mannat Bhau and young Tarun Charak were honoured.
Proceedings of the function were conducted by Savita Sharma.
