UDHAMPUR, Aug 3: Villagers protest against district administration and Public Health Engineering (PHE) Department at village Parand in Tehsil Moungri.
Large number of people including women of different village at Parand near here held strong demonstration against the PHE Department which has failed to solve the drinking water problem of the people of the village faced by them for past over one month.
Villagers said they have brought the matter to the notice of concerned authorities of the PHE Department but nothing has been done to restore water supply. They said the temperature is rising with every passing day thereby causing numerous difficulties to the inhabitants of the area.
