* Six motor-cycles recovered

RAJOURI, Aug 3: With the arrest of two persons, the police claimed to have busted a gang of bikes lifters in district Rajouri today and recovered six stolen motor-cycles from their possession.
The Police party led by SHO Budhal, Jahangir Ahmed, under the supervision of DySP Operation Rajouri, Sukhdev Singh and SSP Rajouri, Yougal Manhas, worked out the case. The police is expecting more recoveries and arrests in near future.
The police started investigation after one Tanveer Ahmed, son of Mohd Hussain, resident of Behrote in Budhal lodged a written complaint that his Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle without number, was stolen on the intervening night of July 26-27 from village Behrote.
The police lifted some suspects and placed them under interrogation. During this process, one of them broke and confessed having stolen some bikes. He was identified as Ashiq Ali, son of Azam Din, resident of Tuli in Chassana area of Mahore.
On his disclosure another associate- Sunil Kumar of Daraj in Budhal was arrested. On their disclosure, total six bikes have been recovered so far. The police was looking for other members of this gang. It hopes to recover some more bikes in near future.
