RAJOURI, June 9: A villager was buried alive under the debris as his muddy-house was collapsed in Thanamandi area of district Rajouri this morning.
Official sources said that the mishap took place during morning hours, when the villager namely, Mushtaq Ahmed Bhat, son of Khizra, resident of village Baddakanna, in Thanamandi Sub Division was offering morning prayers (Namaz). It was raining in the area during night and his Kucha house suddenly collapsed killing him on the spot.
Later, his body was exhumed from the debris by the locals of the area. The police party also reached there after some time from Thanamandi. The police has taken cognizance of the matter.
