Vikramaditya reaffirms commitment to work for Jammu region

JAMMU, Aug 24: Exhorting the people of Jammu to shoulder responsibility of bringing change in J&K, Yuvraj Vikramaditya said that Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) under the leadership of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed has decided to channelize to set up a new system of justice and equality in the State.
Addressing an impressive public gathering at Bishnah in support of party candidate F C Bhagat for the Bishnah assembly segment, Yuvraj Vikramaditya Singh reiterated that he has joined politics to work for the betterment of the people of the State in general and Jammu region in particular.
He said that with your support and blessing I want to restore dignity and honour of the people of Jammu region and maintained that adequate representation of Jammu in the power was possible only under the regime of Mufti Mohammad Sayeed.
Reminding the people about contributions of erstwhile Dogra rulers in the socio-economic growth of Jammu and Kashmir, Vikramaditya Singh said that it was desire of Maharaja Hari Singh that entire State must remain united.
F C Bhagat throwing light on the border firing and the casualities involved demanded compensation for the deceased. While speaking about various problems being faced by the residents of Bishnah and adjoining areas, he assured the gathering that PDP would come up with a visionary document in which a grand master plan would be presented for the over-all growth of Jammu region. He further assured that special focus will be given on Border areas.
