JAMMU, Apr 23: Choudhary Vikram Randhawa, MLA Bahu Assembly Constituency, listened to the public grievances of the masses in a public darbar held at BJP headquarters, Trikuta Nagar, Jammu.
Dozens of deputations visited the BJP headquarters to share their grievances and matters related to personal, societal and development issues.
Deputations from sector-A Teerth Nagar Bohri, Gandhi Nagar, and Shankar Nagar Behind Wave Mall requested the MLA to take corrective measures for highly erratic water supply. Deputations from Colonel Colony, Nanak Nagar sector-4, Last Morh Gandhi Nagar, Basant Vihar Trikuta Nagar presented their issue for the construction of lane/drain and the corresponding blacktopping. Deputations from sect-3 Trikuta Nagar, and Last Morh Gandhi Nagar requested for the repair of street lights. A Deputation from Kote Bhour Camp demanded the left-over compensation for PoJK refugee family.
MLA immediately took up most of the issues with the concerned department officials and issued written communications for the remaining matters.
Randhawa stated on the occasion that the doors of the BJP are always open to the public, and anyone is welcome to meet with party leaders to voice their concerns and seek assistance. He emphasized that a large number of people, especially women, youth, and farmers, have benefitted from the various schemes introduced by the Modi Government. He further asserted that the BJP is not merely a political party, but a mission dedicated to serving the people. Our mission, he said, is to remain committed to the service of the people.
T K Sharma, co-Convenor Swachh Bharat Abhiyan, J&K BJP, coordinated the darbar proceedings. BJP District President Jammu South Naresh Singh Jasrotia was also present on the occasion.
