Vijaypur Police traces missing person

SAMBA, May 11: Vijaypur Police has traced a missing person from Railway Station Kathua after 24 days today. The Police after taking the person into its custody later reunited him with his family members at Vijaypur.
According to police a written complaint was received at P/S Vijaypur from one Neelam Devi stating therein that her husband namely Ashwani Kumar S/o Rattan Lal R/o Gagore, Vijaypur went out from his house on April 16 this year and did not returned later.
Acting on the complaint, a missing report was entered at P/S Vijaypur and search started to trace out the said person. With continuous and strenuous efforts of the police coupled with assistance of police technical team of District Police Headquarter Samba, a police party from P/S Vijaypur under the overall supervision of Anil Magotra, SSP Samba headed by Inspector Suraj Pathania SHO Vijaypur and under the direct supervision of S. Baljeet Singh, SDPO Vijaypur  traced out the missing person from Kathua Railway Station.
The missing person was brought back to Vijaypur and handed over to his legal heirs and report was closed accordingly.
