RAJOURI, Nov 10: In connection of liberating Rajouri from the clutches of Pak raiders in 1947 a function was jointly organized in the town today by VHP and Sanatan Dharam Sabha (SDS) Rajouri today.
The VHP state president, Rama Kant Dubey who was the chief guest on the occasion said that Rajouri and its surrounding areas remained under the control of Pak invaders for about 25 days in 1947 and thousands of innocent people were massacred by the invaders in the town.
He praised the valour of the people and Indian Army which forced the invaders to retreat after 25 days and liberated this historical town from their clutches.
