JAMMU, Sept 7: Talab Tillo Police arrested a vehicle lifter and recovered six stolen two wheelers from his possession.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged at Police Post Talab Tillo by a person namely Rattan Lal of Marh regarding theft of scooty near Rama Lane Talab Tillo District Jammu.
Acting over the complaint, a case under relevant sections was registered at Police Station Nowabad and investigation started.
During the course of investigation, a team from Police Post Talab Tillo led by PSI Rajesh Kumar was constituted under the supervision of SHO Nowabad Inspector Vijay Kumar, DySP Headquarters Swati Sharma and SP City Kulbir Handa.
The team put in hectic efforts and finally nabbed the thief along with stolen scooty. On his disclosure, five more stolen two wheelers were also recovered.
The arrested thief was identified as Rahul Kumar, son of Ramesh Kumar of Lucknow, at present Bhawani Nagar Talab Tillo District Jammu.
Further investigation into the case is going on.
