JAMMU, Sept 7: An army jawan has been booked for raping a girl on marriage pretext.
As per police sources, a complaint was lodged by a girl with Police Station RS Pura stating that an army jawan identified as Krishan Kumar, son of Natha Ram of village Allah Tehsil Arnia District Jammu made physical relations with her on the pretext of marrying her but later refused.
Acting over the complaint, a case under FIR Number 176/2022 under sections 376 and 109 IPC has been registered at Police Station RS Pura and investigation started.
