JAMMU, Mar 3: PDP MLA and former Minister Abdul Rehman, Veeri today urged the Government to release the arrears of relief before the Mahashivratri along with relief of February.
Addressing a meeting of Kashmiri migrants here today organized by Ashok Sidha he said in view of Mahashivratri festival the Government should release the arrears along with the relief as early as possible.
Mr Veeri also urged the Government to make arrangements for the Shivratri festival by making available all the essential commodities including walnuts on the festival through fair price shops. He expressed concern over 18 hour power cut in Jagti township and termed it totally inhuman. The PDP MLA urged the Government to settle the issue once for all and ensure the proper power and water supply to Jagti township.
