JAMMU, Apr 29: Vice Chairman of Jammu Development Authority (JDA), Vikas Sharma today met Trikuta Nagar Welfare Society (TNWS) and discussed modalities to convert lease hold rights to free hold rights.
A handout stated that a discussion was held regarding slashing the rates of free hold rights with consultation from all sections of JDA and others to meet the expectation of Trikuta Nagar residents and demands of TNWS.
The VC JDA issued directions to his team to submit the proposal with justification and correct calculations and also consider all aspects before putting the confirmed proposal before the board of directors of JDA.
He further assured to tour Trikuta Nagar colony to assess problems of locals there regarding developments.
The TNWS members present in the meeting were Rajinder P. Kakkar, President TNWS, Corporators Neeraj Puri and Ajay Kumar Gupta, Ashok Kumar Arora and others.
