Udhampur, Nov 7: On the 3rd day of six days Vertical Interaction Course on “Tactical Preparedness for Counter Terrorism” which was inaugurated in Sher-i-Kashmir Police Academy Udhampur, a number of distinguished guest speakers of top echelons visited this police institution and delivered valuable lectures.
Maj. General (rtd.) R.S.Mehta addressed on the topic, “Synergy between stakeholders of peace” and deliberated in detail about the meaning of synergy, how synergy is achieved and its stakeholders. The next lecture was delivered by S.K. Singh, IGP Investigations NIA, on the topic Counterfeit Currency & its Terrorist linkages, special investigation of terrorist related cases and prosecution who emphasised precisely about terrorist linkages in the flow of counterfeit currency in our country and deliberations were also made by guest speaker about some important cases related to terrorism the investigation of which has been conducted by NIA and further prosecution in the court of law.
Apart from this, a lecture on the topic “Juvenile participation in terrorism” was also delivered by A. Mujtaba, DIG Central Kashmir who deliberated in detail about the studies of involvement of Juveniles in terrorism, their causes and how to deal with the juveniles.
Thereafter, one lecture was also delivered by Deo Behari Sharma, SP Jharkhand Jaguar (STF) one of the participants in this course on the topic “Tactics of Naxalites in Jharkhand who shared a valuable information about the left wing extremist activities and their tactics in the State of Jharkhand. The eminent speakers interacted with all the participants and discussed in detail about the problems being originated and faced by police.
