JAMMU, May 28: Uttariya Railway Mazdoor Union (URMU) today highlighted the grievances of the employees in its meeting held here today.
A large number of employees participated in the meeting during which they reiterated their problems like bad condition of quarters, washing line and shortage of quarters.
The speakers demanded repair of existing quarters and construction of more quarters, stating that for last 30 years, many employees have been living in shanties. They further said that due to new bio-toilets the washing line is in worse condition.
They also demanded time bound promotion of trackmen.
