Uphold moral values

Sir,
The editorial titled ”Literacy up Values down” published in this paper on 16-7-2013 is a marvellous comment for which I thank you. The graph of literacy is rising which is utilized for materialistic side only which in turn encourages greed, lust and selfishness, ignoring valves of life for which at one stage this country was leading amongst the top cultured ones having first preference for values of life. Education has two sides: One for earning livelihood and other to understand subtle aim and objectives of life, which leads to salvation. We have lost the values of life for which Almighty had given the opportunity to human beings to achieve salvation. On the contrary, we have adopted all sorts of evils. Lost the sense of distinguishing between right and wrong. To rectify the society there is urgent need to introduce moral education as one of the topmost and compulsory subject to be introduced right from Primary to University Level. The revival of Sanaskar (Morality) is the topmost responsibility of parents of the child right from his/her birth.
There is, therefore, urgent need that the society rises to occasion ensuring that the moral education is introduced as a subject in our educational curriculum. The teachers have the topmost responsibility to build the career of the students so that they become architect of their country in the field of righteousness and compassionate nature.
The Press has a great role in highlighting the need of morality for public and the politicians who rule the country.
Yours etc….
