JAUNPUR (UP), Feb 20:
One more case of violation of the model code of conduct has been lodged against Congress Candidate and former MLA Nadeem Javed at Kheta Sarai police station, it was reported on Sunday.
Additional Superintendent of Police Dr Sanjay Kumar said that Station Officer Shri Prakash Rai lodged a complaint against Javed on Saturday night.
He said that as per the complaint the Congress candidate was campaigning along with around 200 supporters without permission. “A case of violation of the model code of conduct has been lodged against him,” he said.
The ASP said that before this also cases had been lodged against Javed for violating the model code of conduct and Covid protocol at Shahganj and Kotwali police stations. (UNI)
