Srinagar, Apr 19: An unidentified, semi-decomposed, male body was fished out from river Jehlum near Gassi Mohalla in Safa Kadal.
A police spokesman said the body is measuring 5.7ft high, wearing maroon coloured sweater and black coloured pants.
“Police has started proceedings under Section 174/CrPC into the matter,” the spokesman said.
