SAMBA, Aug 13: The dead body of an unidentified man was found from the canal at village Katli in district Samba here, today. He appears to be of 65 years of age.
Police said the people of the village Katli during the morning walk today, saw a dead body lying in canal. They immediately informed to police. After getting the information police reached on the spot and took the body into their custody and brought it to district hospital Samba for autopsy.
SHO Samba, Rajesh Jasrotia, said that the deceased was missing from Ghagwal for last many days. Today his dead body was recovered from a canal at village Katli and the body was handed over to Ghagwal Police. The police has taken cognizance of the matter and started further investigations, he said.
