JAMMU, Mar 1: Three-week long UGC Refresher Course in Environmental Science (ID), organized by Academic Staff College, University of Jammu, concluded today.
Eighty college and university teachers attended the Course during which around 35 resource persons delivered the lectures.
Prof Deshbandhu Gupta, Director Colleges Development, JU, was chief guest in the valedictory function. He discussed the importance of Environmental Science and said that teachers from various disciplines must keep themselves updated in the field.
Dr Sanjay Sharma, Coordinator of the programme, presented brief proceeding of the whole programme.
Prof Rajender Gupta, Director, Academic Staff Colleges, highlighted importance of refresher courses.
Various participants shared their experiences and presented the feedback report of the course.
Later, Ranjit Kalra, Assistant Director, ASC presented formal vote of thanks.
