JAMMU, Sept 20: Senior Congress leader and Councillor of Jammu Municipal Corporation (JMC), Rajni Bala of Ward Number 60 along with Uday Bhanu Chib, president JKPYC here today started construction work of Wash Rooms at Guru Ravi Dass Temple in Paloura.
Speaking on the occasion Uday Bhanu Chib said it is because of the anti-people policies of BJP led Government that the people continue to suffer on account of non-available of regular power and water supply and other basic amenities.
He said that Congress being more than seven decades old party and committed to address people’s issues on priority especially those pertaining to basic amenities is the only solution to get rid of the miseries surmounting them.
JMC Councillor, Rajni Bala said that people are suffering on account of wrong policies of the Government at the Centre which is resorting to blatant discrimination in executing development works in the areas where people have voted for Congress.
She said that she stands determined to ensure full development of her Ward.
Somnath Sharma, Om Parkash Hans, president Shri Guru Ravi Dass Sabha Paloura, Dr. Raj Pal Hans, Gopal Hans, Ashok Kumar, Harbans Lal, Bittu Chib, Varinder Mehta, Tarun Vaid, Gulshan, Shishu Kumar, Gain Chand and Dr. Chander Mohan Sharma were also present on the occasion.
