JAMMU, June 14: Uday Bhanu Chib, former NSUI president and president of the Youth Congress Jammu and Kashmir, currently serving as the National general secretary of the Indian Youth Congress (IYC), along with Hari Singh Chib, vice president of the Jammu and Kashmir Pradesh Congress Committee (JKPCC), today addressed Congress workers’ meeting at Pakhian, Panchayat Mishriwala, in the Jammu North Assembly segment.
The meeting was organized by senior Congress leader Parshotam Singh and Mamta Kumari, Panch of the area. While addressing party workers, Uday Chib underscored the critical need for unity within the Congress party to effectively tackle the political challenges facing Jammu and Kashmir. He called upon party workers to strengthen their resolve and work in unison towards the party’s objectives. “Our strength lies in our unity. Together, we can overcome any challenge and ensure a better future for our people,” he asserted.
He emphasized the importance of increasing youth participation in politics. “The youth are the future of our nation. It is essential that they step forward and take an active role in shaping our political landscape,” he added.
While referring to the developmental needs of the Jammu North Assembly segment, Chib outlined the pressing issues of inadequate infrastructure, education, and healthcare facilities for the people. He assured the gathering that these concerns would be brought to the attention of higher authorities to ensure prompt action and resolution.
JKPCC vice president, Hari Singh Chib, reiterated the Congress party’s commitment to the rights and development of the people of Jammu and Kashmir. He called for robust grassroots mobilization to connect with the people and address their concerns directly. He urged Congress workers to adopt a proactive approach and maintain a strong presence in their respective areas.
“Our strength comes from the grassroots. It is vital to stay connected with the people, understand their issues, and work tirelessly to resolve them,” he stated.
