JAMMU, Dec 20: Two unidentified male bodies were found today from separate areas here in the limits of police station Bus Stand.
According to a police official, an unknown male body aged about 50 years was found today at about 10 am from a drain in near PHE office on BC Road. He said that the body was shifted to mortuary room of the Government Medical College and Hospital, Jammu for identification/ post mortem.
“The second body, which was also of an unknown male of age about 40-45 years was found from a road side park in front of the entrance gate of Bus Stand in the afternoon”, the police official said, adding it was also shifted to mortuary room of GMCH Jammu.
He said that both the deceased appears to be beggars and prima facie it appears that they died to cold weather. “In both cases, inquest proceedings under 174 CrPC have been initiated at police station Bus Stand”, he added.
