JAMMU, June 30: Two persons were injured today in a road mishap in Chowki Choura area of Akhnoor.
According to a police spokesman, a Wagon-R car bearing registration number JK11B-0628, driven in a rash and negligent manner by Mohd Khalid son of Fateh Mohammad, resident of Rajouri, from Jammu to Rajouri, hit a motorcycle number JK20-6784 at Dhakhada Salyote.
In the mishap, bike rider, Rohit Lakhanpaul son of Bal Makund and pillion rider, Amit Kumar son of Bodh Raj, resident of Bhambliya (Sunderwani), got injured. Both were hospitalized.
Akhnoor police had taken cognizance of the matter.
