BB Police recovers gold, silver ornaments worth Rs 80,000

SAMBA, June 30: Bari Brahmana Police recovered the gold and silver ornaments worth Rs 80,000 and also arrested two burglars involved in the theft.
Police said that on June 17 this year a case FIR No 126/2017 U/S 457/380/RPC was registered on the complaint of Usha Rani W/o Rajinder Sharma of Panj Tirthi at present Bassi Khurd Bari Brahmana.
The Bari Brahmana Police swung into action and arrested two burglars Ravi Kumar S/o Sham Lal of Nud Tehsil Akhnoor district Jammu at present Bari Brahmana and Surinder Sharma alias Shinda S/o Yashpal R/o Trait Basti Bari Brahmana who confessed their involvement in the theft. On their disclosure Police recovered the gold and silver ornaments.
The recovery was made by SHO Bari Brahmana, Inspector Mahesh Sharma, S I, Sukhdev Singh under the supervision of SDPO Bari Brahmana Usman Choudhary and on the directives of SSP Samba, Anil Mangotra who after assuming office of SSP in the district has intensified the drive against the drug mafia, criminals, smugglers and anti social elements.
