JAMMU, July 19: Pallanwala police arrested two persons and illicit liquor bottles.
As per police sources, on specific information, a team from Pallanwala Police Post laid a naka and intercepted two persons, who were moving under suspicious circumstances.
During checking, police recovered 20 bottles of illicit liquor from their possession and arrested them.
The arrested persons have been identified as Amit Kumar, son of Pulla Ram and Suraj Parkash, son of Jeewa Ram, both residents of Mille-di-Khui Tehsil Khour.
A case under FIR Number 56/18 under Section 48-F Excise Act has been registered at Police Station Khour and investigation started.
Police team led by Incharge Pallanwala Police Post SI Yash Pal made the arrest under the supervision of SHO Khour Inspector Joginder Singh, SDPO Akhnoor Munish Anand, SP Rural Dushyant Sharma and SSP Jammu Vivek Gupta.
