RAMBAN, Nov 27: Police here today arrested two persons with 20 gm of heroin.
A police party from Police Station Ramban headed by Head Constable Javed Ahmed while on patrolling duty at Kowbagh, Ramban saw two persons near Old Polytechnic College Kowbag carrying some polythene bags.
On seeing cops the duo tried to move towards Ramban but the cops apprehended them and on their checking found 10-11 gram Heroin like substance from each of them.
One of them was identified as Yasir Ahmed Sheikh son of Ghulam Nabi Sheikh resident of Kowbag, Ramban and 10-11 Heroin like substance was recovered from the possession of the second person who came out to be a minor.
In this, a FIR No. 399/2022 U/S 8/21/22/ NDPS Act was registered at P/S Ramban and investigation entrusted to PSI Ganesh Dutt.
The overall operation was carried out by the police party headed by Inspector Sandeep Charak under the supervision of Pardeep Singh Sen, DySP Hqrs Ramban with the overall supervision of SP Ramban, Mohita Sharma.
