Yuva Hindi Lekhak Sangh releases Ashok Kumar’s book

JAMMU, Nov 27: Yuva Hindi Lekhak Sangh released Prof Ashok Kumar’s book ‘Jammu Kashmir Ki Hindi Kavita, Bhag-3’, during an impressive function at Govt College for Women, Parade Ground, Jammu, here today.
Giving account of his journey through the path of creation, Ashok Kumar said: “It has always been my endeavour to project literary stalwarts of Jammu and Kashmir at local and national level”.
Prof Neelam Saraf, who presided over the function, said it is critics who evaluate the work of literary personalities and Ashok Kumar has accomplished this job well.
Dr Kanhaiya Lal Bhat from Gujrat also spoke on this occasion. Dr Parshotam Kumar presented the vote of thanks. The programme was compeered by Uma Slathia.
Earlier, a Kavi Sammelan of Hindi poets was held in which budding poets along with seniors presented their poems. These poets included Renu Divya Sharma, Dimple Verma, Nita Mahajan, Chakshu Sharma, Aarti, Sudhir Mahajan, Narinder Gupta, Dr Parshotam, Arun Kumar Bajaj, Sanjeev Bhasin, Sheikh Mohd Kalyan, Dr Pawan Khajuria, Arvind Sharma, Rajiv Sharma and Ashok Kumar.
Sheikh Mohd Kalyan, Rajiv Sharma and Dr Pawan Khajuria who formed the presidium, eulogized the creations of young poets.
