Two-day Punjabi conference concludes

JAMMU, Jan 15: Two-day Punjabi National Conference on ‘Sabyachar at Lok Dhara Sidhantak Pakh Ate Adhya’ by Punjabi Adbi Sangat, Jammu in collaboration with Punjabi Sahit Academy Delhi and J&K Academy of Art, Culture and Languages Jammu, concluded today at K L Saigal Hall.
Eminent writers from all over the country participated in the meet and presented their papers on different aspects of Punjabi culture, folklore and Sidhantak studies.
In the valedictory, Dr Karanjit Singh highlighted the efforts of prominent writers and scholars who presented their papers in Punjabi.
Dr Javaid Qadus, former HoD Urdu, University of Kashmir, stressed that such type of seminars should be organised in future also.
The seminar was coordinated by Popinder Singh while proceedings were conducted by Dr Anuradha Sharma.
During the earlier sessions of the seminar, papers were presented by Dr Rajinder Kour, Dr Manjit Singh, Dr Barinder Kour, Dr Karamjit Singh and Dr Sushil Sharma.
Proceedings of the programme were conducted by Dr Anuradha Sharma.
