SAMBA, Dec 21: Police arrested two absconders, who were evading their arrest since long, a police official said.
The arrested persons have been identified as Balbir Singh, son of Jagmail Singh R/o Chak Ram Chand, Supwal, district Samba and Vinod Kumar, son of Mukhtair Chand of Rehian, district Samba.
They were wanted in FIR Number 22/13 under Sections 341, 323 and 147 RPC and FIR Number 170/14 under Sections 366, 376, 342 and 109 RPC registered with Police Station Samba.
Police team led by SHO Samba Inspector Chanchal Singh made the arrest under the supervision of DySP Headquarters Samba Deepak Digra and SSP Samba Anil Magotra.
