Sir,
The State Govt’s recent order banning private tuitions and other assignments for Govt teachers, although good and praiseworthy step is no solution to the mess, the Education Department is presently in. What is guarantee that after implementing this order teachers will perform their duty sincerely and devote their valuable time to students. Those who are sincere and whose conscience is alive, are doing their job and for rest this order does not mean anything. It is worthwhile to mention here, if teachers were asked to shut shops, why not doctors were asked to close their clinics. Why not same criteria for all those who do other jobs other than their profession?
Has the Government shut the shops of those Govt employees who go to their office once or twice in a month? Banning private tuitions by Govt teachers is not the solution. The whole system demands change and reforms. Only then development and prosperity can be brought for a better tomorrow.
Yours etc..
