JAMMU, Aug 28: Tehsil Thathri Development Front (TTDF) has urged all political parties to support the bill on constitution of delimitation commission and implementation of 73rd and 74th Amendments in J&K Act in the coming session.
Kuldeep Kumar Rao, president, Tehsil Thathri Development Front and Kanwarjeet Singh Thakur, senior vice president said that equitable development is not possible without delimitation of assembly and parliamentary constituencies.
Delimitation is the urgent need of the hour and is a public demand so that places which have been fragmented and adjusted in the various legislative constituencies like tehsil Thathri be brought under one unit to ensure the proper development process, they said.
