UDHAMPUR, Aug 28: “Hajipir Day” was celebrated by Hajipir Brigade at Trahagam with great pride and traditional fervor.
The celebrations of the day started with wreath laying ceremony, paying homage to the gallant martyrs of 1965 Indo-Pak War.
A Medical and Veterinary camp was organised at Halmatpura in the honour of Awam and all those civil persons who fought the war hand in hand with the Army.
The occasion was graced by the presence of Siramad Hafeez, DC Kupwara, Mohammad Irshad, SSP Kupwara and Mohammad Aslam, SP Handwara.
