UDHAMPUR, Jan 5: Two days training programme on “Concept of Leadership and Management in Police” organized at SK Police Academy concluded here today.
Twenty officers of the rank of Inspector participated in the training course. The course was designed as a tool for understanding the basic rules of management to get work done with the help of others through better planning, coordination and control under a dynamic leadership.
Further in his valedictory address, Vinay Kumar, SSP, Deputy Director (Administration) SKPA stressed upon the theme-Management, which is considered as a science to produce more from less available resources. To meet the basic objectives of the training programme, experienced, qualified guest faculty from renowned institutes which include Dr Mahesh Koul, Post Doctoral Fellow Indian Council of Philosophical Research (ICPR) New Delhi , Swati Basotra, consultant IIT Jammu and Dr Rashi Taggar Assistant Professor, School of Business, SMVDU Katra were invited to share their rich experiences.
Suraj Singh, DySP, AD (Trg/R&D)/Administration Officer also delivered lecture to the participating officers.
The course was coordinated by Sunmati Gupta, DySP, AD(Q) and Inspector Nasser Mahmood Naik member faculty SKPA Udhampur.
