Training for Skill Dev Deptt concludes at IMPARD

JAMMU, Dec 16: The 1st programme of training series for Skill Development Department (SDD) concluded at J&K Institute of Management, Public Administration and Rural Development (IMPARD) here today.
The training was sponsored by SDD under World Bank assisted STRIVE project of Government of India to strengthen Industrial Training Institutions (ITIs) of J&K for empowering youth through skill development.
The officials of ITIs including principals, superintendents, faculty members and ministerial staff will be trained in capacity building series.
The 1st programme of the series was organized for the ministerial staff of ITIs of Jammu division and it covered themes like Employees Code of Conduct, Noting and Drafting Skill, Civil Service Rules, GFR, GeM, e-Office, RTI etc.
The valedictory function was presided over by Prof. Reva Sharma, Director Trainings, J&K IMPARD, Jammu while Mandeep Dogra, Assistant Director, Directorate of Skill Development; Rajesh Kumar, Assistant Director RDSDE; Dr. Mohd. Ashraf Dar and Dr. Ruchi Gupta, Course Coordinators from Srinagar and Jammu respectively were also present during the session.
The programme was attended by 20 nominated officials from various ITIs across Jammu division.
