During the night of March 11 and 12, a mini truck turned turtle near New Plots in Jammu in such a way that it blocked one way of the road and till the traffic was not heavy, vehicles plied up to morning using one available side . It was only at 10am on March 12, that steps to lift it from the road were taken which resulted in disruption of traffic for full two hours right from Disco Morh up to Ampbhalla chowk and beyond . People were put to lot of inconvenience as those who could manoeuvre alternate already over busy routes could get away but those who were virtually trapped in the jam faced a lot.
If this vehicle would have been lifted even at wee hours on March 12, it could have proved as a stitch in time and trouble to the pedestrians and vehicle owners could have been prevented.
Shall Traffic authorities note it for future, please?
