JAMMU, Aug 10: S S Tomar today took over as Inspector General of Border Security Force (BSF) Jammu Frontier.
Mr Tomar has replaced Rajeev Krishna, who has been posted as IG Operations BSF Headquarters, New Delhi. Mr Tomar is a BSF cadre officer with vast experience of serving in various assignments——along Indo-Bangladesh border, Indo-Pakistan border and anti-Naxal operations.
He is a decorated officer and well-educated instructor and has commanded Kashmir Frontier of BSF. Prior to new assignment he was performing the duties of IG Operations, BSF Headquarters.
